Things to look forward to for Spring

Happy Spring season readers!

Or should I say...Spring tease?

Let's forget about the snow that just graced us and focus on the new season!

Many of us are running around everywhere these days, trying to catch up on our latest school work, attending work meetings, catching up with some old 'gals & scheduling important appointments that just cannot be missed. Between those, we don't even have time to order the double espresso we've been craving...much less SHOP!

Let me know if you can relate...

I'm a full-time student that is trying to juggle piles of papers and word counts, grow in the networking industry and catch up with my loved ones on a regular basis. As wise people once said, "You can't buy love and happiness", which is why I put those first.

On another note, I take advantage of my "solo time" to catch up on some reading, blogging and...ONLINE SHOPPING. Don't have time to shop? Easy, grab your card & your portable gadget and start triple w-ing.

A day at Laura Aline

A few weeks ago, I was approached by Laura Aline 's manager, asking me if I would like to come by and cover an article on this fabulous jewelry store. I had the honour of meeting  Laura Aline 's team and talk about gems, pearls and all sorts of other shines for an entire afternoon.

This mother-daughter team has acquired pearls of wisdom and expertise in their mutually exclusive field. Aline has over 30 years experience in the industry with many of her creations sold all through North America. Laura 's keen business sense coupled with her unique trendy and modern designs has given all stones a new meaning. Furthermore, she pursued a degree in gemmology and is looking forward to eventually becoming a certified gemologist. Other members of the family also help out in the growth of every seasonal collection.

Birthday Blues

Hello readers,

I definitely experienced a wonderful weekend filled with love, laughter and my best girlfriends by my side.

But... I did get the Birthday Blues. I'm talking about Fashion, of course! Getting the real blues is still too early! Don't we all agree?

A very dear friend of mine and I share the same birthday. With that said, the fun obviously doubled up. Our treasure of five definitely took advantage of the fact that we were all gathered together at the same time, same day & same location. With our busy schedules & being located in different cities, we sure made a day out of this early birthday celebration!

We started the day bright and early with the perfect breakfast ambiance at Universel. As we laughed continuously between our bites and sips of coffee, we experienced some delicious delights and witnessed some great service at this hipster-chic downtown restaurant.
