RSVP Magazine 4th edition launch in Montreal

Last night I had the honour of attending Montreal's only bilingual society magazine launch party. This magazine covers many "it" local places such as black tie charity galas, high-end product launches, restaurant and boutique openings, fashion shows, art exhibits, cocktail parties, etc. In other words, where there's life, there's RSVP.

Being a bi-annual publication (SS-March & FW-September), it caters to all Montrealers that are looking to get inspired by many things such as culinary dishes, real estate, fashion, lifestyle, etc.

No more polka dots for Minnie

Hello readers,

Forever-young iconic Minnie Mouse ventured off in the world of Couture and "let go" of her polka dots. She will now be rocking a new dress for her special Parisian events.

Minnie's dress is designed by Lanvin's designer, Alber Elbaz. Adding frocks to her look on her royal blue long sleeve dress added more maturity and attention on the Disneyland Paris catwalk.

A new found e-gem

For those who know me well know that I'm a true jewelry hunter. I always have my eyes set on the next big piece I'll make part of my collection. I have no limits when it comes to jewelry. I believe that a piece of accessory can truly bring your whole outfit on another level.

This important term we call "accessory" is what brought me to write an article on my latest purchase.

I've recently been visiting quite a few blogs and stumbled upon a few bloggers that wore jewelry from T+J. This is where it all began...

Operation Closet

Hello readers,

As the weather is getting warmer, you should put the same amount of sun and fresh air in your closet.

As an avid shopper, I owe it to my closet to keep it organized and clean my space and freshen it up at least once every 4-6 weeks. Here are a few tips for getting your closet in order to kick off your spring cleaning:

Every month

ask yourself the following questions:

* Can I find my clothes easily?

* Are all the groups of clothes together? (Shoes - Blazers - Pants - Etc.)

* Is everything folded accordingly?

I try to organize my hanging pieces by "grouping cuts". I love seeing all of my blazers placed on one side, dresses on the other and my pants, tops and cardigans in between. When I'm in a rush, I definitely know where to look first. It is important to reorganize your closet at least once a month before you start asking yourself "where you lost your shirt".

A day at Boutique Ghazvin

A few days ago, I had the chance to meet with Boutique Ghazvin's owner in Les Cours Mont-Royal and ended up chatting with him for hours about everything & anything related to Fashion, of course.

It took three years to plan out the opening of Boutique Ghazvin. It resulted in two boutiques that are both located in Montreal. 

The first one opened nearly a year a half ago in Place Vertu followed by the second one in Les Cours Mont-Royal that will soon celebrate its one year anniversary.
