Last night I had the honour of attending Montreal's only bilingual society magazine launch party. This magazine covers many "it" local places such as black tie charity galas, high-end product launches, restaurant and boutique openings, fashion shows, art exhibits, cocktail parties, etc. In other words, where there's life, there's RSVP.
Being a bi-annual publication (SS-March & FW-September), it caters to all Montrealers that are looking to get inspired by many things such as culinary dishes, real estate, fashion, lifestyle, etc.
When you're up late at night accompanied by your double shot of espresso you can either:
A) Move around and burst your energy out
B) Do like me: SHOP ONLINE
For those who know me well know that I'm a true jewelry hunter. I always have my eyes set on the next big piece I'll make part of my collection. I have no limits when it comes to jewelry. I believe that a piece of accessory can truly bring your whole outfit on another level.
This important term we call "accessory" is what brought me to write an article on my latest purchase.
I've recently been visiting quite a few blogs and stumbled upon a few bloggers that wore jewelry from T+J. This is where it all began...
As the weather is getting warmer, you should put the same amount of sun and fresh air in your closet.
As an avid shopper, I owe it to my closet to keep it organized and clean my space and freshen it up at least once every 4-6 weeks. Here are a few tips for getting your closet in order to kick off your spring cleaning:
ask yourself the following questions:
* Can I find my clothes easily?
* Are all the groups of clothes together? (Shoes - Blazers - Pants - Etc.)
* Is everything folded accordingly?
I try to organize my hanging pieces by "grouping cuts". I love seeing all of my blazers placed on one side, dresses on the other and my pants, tops and cardigans in between. When I'm in a rush, I definitely know where to look first. It is important to reorganize your closet at least once a month before you start asking yourself "where you lost your shirt".

I've decided to dive into a new post & share an exciting day I had earlier this week. I had the honour of spending my daytime birthday with Montreal's Style Impeccable's Stylist Marie-Claude Robert. So let me rephrase this . . . a girl's birthday spent in numerous amount of boutiques talking about Fashion all day long: I LOVED IT!
A stylist's job is to primarily satisfy its clientele by giving them an opportunity to reach out to a new style they can relate to for themselves and boost up their confidence throughout a wide variety of clothing and accessories. By doing so, a stylist is in charge of choosing items that the client will instantly fall in love with and be able to incorporate it in a few new outfits.
Marie-Claude and I met early in the morning and ventured off to quite a few boutiques all over the island.
Many of us are running around everywhere these days, trying to catch up on our latest school work, attending work meetings, catching up with some old 'gals & scheduling important appointments that just cannot be missed. Between those, we don't even have time to order the double espresso we've been craving...much less SHOP!
Let me know if you can relate...
I'm a full-time student that is trying to juggle piles of papers and word counts, grow in the networking industry and catch up with my loved ones on a regular basis. As wise people once said, "You can't buy love and happiness", which is why I put those first.
On another note, I take advantage of my "solo time" to catch up on some reading, blogging and...ONLINE SHOPPING. Don't have time to shop? Easy, grab your card & your portable gadget and start triple w-ing.
A few weeks ago, I was approached by Laura Aline 's manager, asking me if I would like to come by and cover an article on this fabulous jewelry store. I had the honour of meeting Laura Aline 's team and talk about gems, pearls and all sorts of other shines for an entire afternoon.
Laura Aline is recognized as the largest pearl specialty retailer in Canada.
Its history dates back of four generations. This mother-daughter team has acquired pearls of wisdom and expertise in their mutually exclusive field. Aline has over 30 years experience in the industry with many of her creations sold all through North America. Laura 's keen business sense coupled with her unique trendy and modern designs has given all stones a new meaning. Furthermore, she pursued a degree in gemmology and is looking forward to eventually becoming a certified gemologist. Other members of the family also help out in the growth of every seasonal collection.
I definitely experienced a wonderful weekend filled with love, laughter and my best girlfriends by my side.
But... I did get the Birthday Blues. I'm talking about Fashion, of course! Getting the real blues is still too early! Don't we all agree?
A very dear friend of mine and I share the same birthday. With that said, the fun obviously doubled up. Our treasure of five definitely took advantage of the fact that we were all gathered together at the same time, same day & same location. With our busy schedules & being located in different cities, we sure made a day out of this early birthday celebration!
We started the day bright and early with the perfect breakfast ambiance at Universel. As we laughed continuously between our bites and sips of coffee, we experienced some delicious delights and witnessed some great service at this hipster-chic downtown restaurant.
